Custodian Morris Hill gave money to the varsity girls basketball team after their first win. Hill was proud of the girls for fighting so hard that he will rewarded all girls basketball teams with money to have a pizza dinner at Borriello Brothers.

But Hill’s generosity does not stop with giving the team a nutritious meal.

“I have a really big surprise for the girls basketball team for the end of their season,” Hill said.

Hill has been trying to get all the custodians to adopt a program at the school. He chose to invest in the girls basketball team.

“Since I have been at this school I have met a lot of interesting people and we always joke together,” Hill said.

Hill has been an employee at Lewis-Palmer for four years. He is a night custodian also in charge of all the sporting events. He loves working here and appreciates watching the competitions.

“My job is exciting, and I get to watch all the games for free, Hill said.

Hill moved to Colorado in 1998 from Austin, Texas. He has been a fan of girls basketball since he started working here. He feels like he is a part of the team and wishes the girls the best of luck in their season.

“I really hope they go all the way this year,”  Hill said.

Hill is excited to watch the girls finish up their season. The team has three games left to play. If they win all three games, then they have a good chance of competing during playoffs.
