PDA: Public Display of Annoyance

Students often see couples walking just hand in hand, if they are lucky.

Public displays of annoyance, we have all seen them and sadly more than we want to. It’s one thing to display affection for someone; it’s another thing when the lovebirds must show their affection to the entire school.

Hallways are for getting from class to class, not making out with an oh so special someone like they’re staring in Nickolas Sparks movie.  Why can’t they move their make out session to the privacy of a couch? Innocent onlookers can only turn away in disgust and try to erase the scarring scene from their brain.  We get it: you love each other and just can’t keep your hands to yourselves. No one needs to see the touchy, kissy feely stuff two could do in private from freshman hall all the way to senior hall.

Toning it down a bit is the perfect solution. Love birds don’t need to have physical contact at all times. Please stick to hand holding or a hug and the occasional quick, and please keep it quick, kiss. Personally, being attached to another so much that physical contact and frequent  make out sessions is just unhealthy.
