This year there has been a total of 16 senior athletes who have signed with a college.

Senior Seth Polich signed to the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs for Cross country. Teresa Haro signed to Colorado State University in Pueblo for tennis. Joey Mikulas signed to Master College in California for soccer. Zahra Kiaee signed to University of Northern Texas for diving. Zoey Van Wirt signed to the Air Force Academy for diving. Kourtney Guetlein signed to Washington State University for soccer. Masson and Logan Woish both signed to Colorado school of Mines for football.

“Teresa was a state qualifier for tennis; I rarely have met anyone who works that diligently. She is a great and special person as well as an athlete,” tennis coach Kardel said.

Guetlein has a very special story. She torn her ACL her freshmen year, back to play her sophomore year. She practiced very hard every day to get back in routine.

“Kourtney got 6th in state in the whole division for scoring. Her speed and ability to place the ball in the back of the net with be greatly missed,” soccer coach Furrer said.

Not only are the Woish twins able to excel academically but they also excel in football.

Haro will be playing tennis at a division two college; she is both excited and nervous, for her upcoming journey.
