Homecoming, some guys love it, others don’t. Many Lewis Palmer High School male students are facing the decision of whether or not to go to homecoming, and whom with. A lot of guys at LPHS enjoy homecoming, mostly because of the dancing.

“I like to get my grind on,” senior Nathan Conner said.

Others see homecoming as a hassle that their girlfriends drag them into. They don’t think homecoming is fun and would rather spend the night eating chips and watching TV.

And then there’s the question of whether to take a girl as a friend or as a date. A lot of guys would rather go with a date because the whole “we’re just friends” thing can get awkward when it comes time to get down and dance.

Guys like the dance, but there’s a lot more to homecoming than just that. Asking a girl, dinner, plans, reservations, and homecoming week stuff, it’s all a bit of a hassle.
