So far this soccer season has been filled with uplifting victories, devastating losses, team bonding, and has had a partnership with the Make-a- Wish Foundation. There is still a lot of time left, leaving the possibilities for the outcome of the season as a whole, open and mysterious.

By winning the very first game, they had set themselves up for an exciting entry into the season. The following three games were all losses but this did not cause the persistent, hardworking members of the team to give up the fight. They came back and beat Canon City along with Discovery Canyon Campus; beginning to get pumped up to run the show against their most prominent rival: Palmer Ridge.

Unfortunately, the Palmer Ridge game was a loss. The score ended up being 0-2, even though the team tried their best.

“We never stopped giving it our all. Our team played very well but we were still unable to dominate the game,” junior Andrew Lyons said.

Even though the team has had a few losses, they have also had some wins too, and plan to pull through and finish out the season strong.

“This season has been great so far, but I’m really looking forward to winning some more games,” junior Andrew Allen said.

The team will continue with their season. They have lost five games, won four, tied one and there are still four more games coming up that will give them an opportunity to come back and get in some more wins.
