Our Lady Ranger’s recent battle against the Cheyenne Mountain Indians for the title of the number one volleyball team in the league finished off with a bang.  The Rangers won against the former state champions 3-1. With the energy in the room high, our ladies were set for a winning game.

The team was accompanied by the Rowdy Rangers. As the Rowdy Rangers cheered at the top of their lungs, the team was lifted up by their support.

“The energy was so high and the crowd gave us the extra motivation and effectiveness,” junior volleyball player Abigail Bartalo said.

The game was riveting and came extremely close during all four games. Our ladies had a challenge going up against them, but took the Indians down with all their might.

“I think we knew we had a chance to win. We were confident, but knew how good Cheyenne Mountain was,” Bartalo said. “We’ve been working really hard and give it our all to go far as we can.”

With the school and coaches by their side,  Lewis-Palmer’s Volleyball team has a strong chance to win state.
