Thanksgiving is a day of feasting and giving thanks for all that people have in life. It is a day for remembering the joys in life and appreciating them.

The most common form of being joyful and giving thanks for everything life has to give is to gather around a table with one’s love ones and eat their fill.

Students at LP love feasting and being with their families on this holiday. Whether it is at their own table or somewhere else in the country, and sometimes even out of the country, students will always enjoy the delicious foods that are served on this fantastic day.

“My favorite food is the cranberry sauce,” senior Erik Flinn said.

Many classic favorite foods of Thanksgiving are mashed potatoes, rolls, vegetables, ham, and of course, the turkey. The first Thanksgiving had wild turkey, and forever after it has been the highlight of the meal.

“The best food during Thanksgiving are the mashed potatoes. Nothing beats them,” freshman Millie Stevens said.

Different students love eating different things, but all can agree that he food is nothing to be compared with during this special time when everyone gives thanks for what people have in life.
