Thanksgiving is a wonderful time of the year when families get together and celebrate the time when the pilgrims came to America. The first Thanksgiving was in the year 1621, when the early Americans got together with friends and family.

The first Thanksgiving was started because the early Americans were thankful to be in the New World with their friends and families, as well as being alive thanks to the Indians. Thanksgiving was a day that was celebrating peace between the white men and the Indians.

Nowadays, families usually prefer to stay home for the holiday, but they will also travel and see friends and other family members

Families like to stay home for the holidays for their home cooked meals and to be surrounded by their family and friends.

For people who do like to travel, they usually visit other family and friends. Sometimes they visit both family and friends they have not seen in a long time.

“My family likes to go up to Aspen, to see my dad’s art gallery, and we spend a week up there,” senior Nelson Tucker said.

Thanksgiving is a great time to remember the good times past, and to appreciate them. It is also a good time to look forward to a bright future with friends and family.
