Lewis-Palmer Prepares for DECA Regional Competition

Josh Koshy, Ranger Review Reporter

Recently the Lewis-Palmer DECA team took the Regional DECA test. This test is an important part of the process. It is added on to a participants overall score, consisted of various different questions that examine their knowledge on business.

The tests are divided into four different categories. Students take the test that is based on the event that they are participating in. Many students use their knowledge from their marketing and management classes to do well on their test.

Mr. Diamond has prepared all the students by making them taking practice tests at the beginning of most class periods. Alongside the test Mr. Diamond has covered many aspects of the DECA experience such as offering opportunities to participate in other DECA completions around the state.

Hopefully there will be a large amount of students placing at the regional competition and state. Many Lewis-Palmer students in the past years have placed onto both the state and national level as they bringing home titles.

Lewis-Palmer DECA strives to be the best in all the various events. This experience will hopefully allow a DECA member to learn various different business aspects, which will allow them to apply it onto their professional lives.
