Fun, mayhem, trouble, and boredom; these are all words to describe spring break. Before the week starts, everyone has huge expectations on what they are going to do and how wondrous it’s going to be. But, we all know how fast boredom will fall upon our shoulders during a matter of days.

So, to keep your break fresh and upbeat, here are a few exciting things to add to your spring break bucket list.
Living in monument, we all know there isn’t much to do. But to start with the most simple: tanning. Everyone loves bronzed skin, and it’s the best feeling to come back to school as a new person.

Tanning is such a simple change, but a big one, your skin glows, and you feel great. Although we like to be dark skinned, it can be dangerous, so tan in moderation and never forget sunblock.

One thing that not many people really get the chance to do is go to a Spa. But spas are so relaxing and you just feel so renewed after you leave.

In Colorado there are so many amazing spas to go to. Just down the road is the Broadmoor Hotel Spa, go here and you get an astonishing view of the golf course, lake, and mountains. This is such a good way to have a relaxing, stress – free vacation.

Something we all try and forget is snow during break. But we live in Colorado, why not go snowboarding or skiing? There are so many spectacular ski resorts here such as: Vail, Steamboat, or Breckenridge.

Girls – we all know shopping is like therapy to us, but what about shopping in your own closet? DIY your clothes, this is one of my favorite activities. Take an old shirt or any article of clothing that is somewhat out dated or you just over – wore and do whatever you want to make it unique. Acid wash, studding, cutting, and tie- dye are the most popular (and stylish) things to do to your favorite clothes, and it way cheaper than going to the mall and buying a whole new wardrobe.

Make this spring break different, do something you never have before and take these tips and have fun!
