Options 38 is a school program that focuses on making sure their students have the opportunity to graduate without the stress of a traditional school setting. It provides smaller class settings with one-on-one time with the students’ teachers, making it easier for them to fulfill their goals.

Many students in Options 38 not only struggle with their education, but sometimes their families, work, or college tuitions.

Options 38 provide college tuitions and helps students with ideas on careers. Students can look up specific careers based on their talents and strengths.

Some students in Options 38 are in the program due to struggling with the traditional work amount and the classroom settings.

“In freshmen year, I struggled in the academic classes. I was feeling overwhelmed with the work, and I really didn’t care much about what I was doing in school. By sophomore year, I realized I needed to change. I needed to find a way to graduate on time, and a way to change my personality towards my school work. Now, I do work in my classes, I make sure everything is turned in one time, and I care about my education,”  a senior Summer Greenberg shared.

Other students in options are in the program because they are trying to get an education and are trying to juggle a job with schoolwork.

Working an after school job and focusing on school can be a challenge, but Options 38 helps their students earn credits for graduation just from after school jobs.

For any student who struggles in the traditional school, has an after school job, or needs help with career and college choices, Options 38 provides a firm foundation for a better future.
