On April 24th, Zynga released the new app Draw Something 2, which is an improved sequel to the addictive game Draw Something which was released last year.

With new features such as different tools, patterns and over 5,000 new words, people can create more intricate and creative drawings than ever before. Some tools that they’ve added include watercolors, crayons, highlighters, stamps, pattern pencils and a fun sparkle pen which is included in the paid version.

“My favorite tool is the pattern pencil because I can draw pictures with characters from the movie Despicable Me,” senior Madi Bennet said.

All of the tools, colors and patterns can be purchased with coins and stars earned throughout the game. A few ways to earn coins and stars is by winning games, earning achievements, and completing offers.

In addition to the cool drawing features, people can share their drawings by saving them to their gallery and uploading them to social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Players can also follow people and like pictures that talented artists create.

“I like that I can see my friends’ drawings too,” Bennet said.

Even celebrities are playing this highly entertaining game. What’s even cooler is that ordinary people can view celebrities’ drawings and check out their masterpieces.

Another added feature is a parental control option that parents can use to password protect the game from allowing their kids to view pictures on the social feeds. Overall this game is fun and easy for people of all ages to play.

Currently this game is available for free on the iTunes market, or it can be purchased for $2.99 to have no ads, more coins, thousands of new words and the sparkle pen.
