Every school year, Lewis Palmer High School hosts a selection of Foreign Exchange Students from countries all across the world. There are many differences between their home countries and America but there are also similarities.

Ludde, a student from Sweden, is enjoying his experience in Colorado very much so far. He is living with Brad Ellis; also a junior at LP high school.

Even though this is the longest time Ludde will be staying in America, It hasn’t been the first time. Last year he visited New York for Christmas and Miami last summer.  Also, two years ago, he visited his sister in Pennsylvania for two weeks.

Ludde’s sister, Maja, was a foreign exchange student two years before Ludde came to Colorado to be a foreign exchange student. “My sister really encouraged me to do the program, but either way I would have done it,” Ludde said.

The exchange students all seem to be fitting in and making friends very easily. Ludde said everyone at Lewis Palmer has been accepting and friendly to him and that his host family, the football team, and his classmates have graciously welcomed him into their lives and activities.
