Every year during the summer, Vans Warped Tour sponsors a music festival. It travels across the country for three months and brings the alternative music scene to the area. This year, it came to Denver at the Mile High Stadium.

With over 20,000 people in attendance, it was one of the biggest music events in Denver this summer. On June 31, Warped Tour came to town. There were 52 bands playing; with headliners such as Bring Me the Horizon, Sleeping with Sirens, We Came As Romans, and many more. It is the biggest alternative music festival in the nation twenty years running.

It also features many smaller, newcomer bands as well as dubstep and indie music artists. This gives less known artists a chance to impress the crowd.  There are also vendors there, set up in “Merch Alley”  where you can buy exclusive band merchandise and also shirts from other organizations like To Write Love On Her Arms and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

“It was my first concert and it was amazing. I saw lots of bands and got signatures from The Black Dahlia Murder,” sophomore Nick Halman said.

It was amazing and it is one of the best experiences anyone who has been says they’ve had. Warped Tour is definitely the ‘Best Day Ever’
