Every year, Lewis-Palmer High School gets new teachers. New teachers bring new, innovative teaching techniques and useful methods to help students out throughout their High School life.

One of these teachers, Melissa Inmon, is teaching 9th grade Language Arts this year.  Mrs. Inmon has said she wants to help her students succeed in Language Arts by implementing special policies in her classroom other teachers have not set up.

“This is my first year teaching at Lewis Palmer High School.  Prior to this school year, I taught for three years in Omaha, Nebraska,” Inmon said. She hopes that her first year at LP will be a great one.

Her past experiences with high school students have taught her that she enjoys teaching the freshman class. It has helped her learn teaching techniques and other things that will help her in the coming years.

“I am confident that the 2013-2014 school year will be both positive and productive,” Inmon said.

Be sure to tell her hello and welcome her to our school. She will be a great addition to the Lewis-Palmer staff as well as the Lewis-Palmer community.
