Here at LP, students have a creative bunch of students whom express themselves through art. Just recently, a student made Despicable Me minions out of Twinkies.

“Some friends and I found this recipe on Facebook and I decided to try them. They took me about three hours to make but I had lots of fun with them,” sophomore, Anne Martens, said.

Not only do LP students show their creativity through food but also through other forms of art, including jewelry. Freshman, Missie Fornof, makes many things that express her creative side.

“I make jewelry and I sell it since I work at the Bead Corner in Monument. I also make Christmas cards and design my own clothes for Halloween and other events,” Fornof said.

LP offers many classes that allow students to express themselves including drawing. Whether they use dark or bright colors, everyone has a story or meaning behind their drawings.

“I like to use bold colors when I draw because they show that I am outgoing,” sophomore, Lily Valentine, said.

Our school has a wide range of students who love expressing themselves through their creativity.
