Aaron Miller, a Lewis-Palmer Spanish teacher, has been chosen to sing in a Denver based choir for the Canonization ceremony of Pope John Paul II and Pope John XXII.  This will be taking place in Rome, from April 24 to May 4. The ceremony is for Pope John Paul II and Pope John XXII becoming saints in the Catholic religion.

Mr. Miller was chosen because the choir contacted the church he attends. Then he went up to Denver for an audition. He has rehearsal every Tuesday night in order to prepare.

“When I found out I was chosen I was pretty excited. I get to travel to Rome and I am one of twenty people who get to participate in this event. While I am in Rome I will do a little bit of sightseeing and sing.” Miller said.

This opportunity is definitely something that only happens once in a life time. Lewis-Palmer is all so proud of Mr. Miller and wishes him good luck.
