Colorado is much more different than Alaska. The weather is completely different. Coming to a state that doesn’t have that much snow and the cold is not nearly as cold as Alaska, which is definitely a plus. Colorado has more perks than Alaska, for example, there are way more activities to do. Another benefit is that Colorado has more options for food.

The population is a lot larger too; most of the people in Colorado are much more social. So far the people I have met are nice and interested on where I’m from and why I came to Colorado. Something else that is nice about being in Colorado is that I don’t have many distractions, so i get good grades. My favorite thing about Colorado is the hockey; Colorado hockey has a lot more competition, than Alaska.

However there are down falls, which affect me from moving here. I think the school is much harder than Alaska in every way. Also the traffic is horrible here. Not knowing too many people here can be difficult not to mention the elevation is very hard to get used to.

Over all I like Colorado more than Alaska. Some of my favorite things about Colorado is how there is much more to do here than from Alaska, also the weather is amazing here. My least favorite thing in Colorado is the schools, the schools here expect much more from you.
