How to not procrastinate

When you get home from a long day at school and possibly sports, all you want to do is go to bed and catch up on social media. Dreading having to do your chemistry homework that is due tomorrow, you just push it off until last minute. You often may wonder, how do I motivate myself to get all of my homework done right away?

“My mom tells me I have to do my homework the day it is assigned so that it is done and I don’t have to deal with it later. I use my phone to put all of my homework in and I use it as my planner,” sophomore Max Ogden said.

Putting little reminders in your phone is a good way to remember what is due and when. Another thing you can do to get things done and remember is homework apps.

“I have a homework app on my phone and I get reminders every hour until I do my work. The app is called My Homework and I use it every day sense I am always on my phone. It has helped me so much,” sophomore Tatianna Saunders said.

There are so many ways to keep on top of your homework and projects especially by using your phone or a planner. Just be really strict with yourself and don’t do anything enjoyable until all of your work is done. Also, when you finish a really big project or long homework assignment, reward yourself with candy or a Starbucks.

Try not to fall behind because once you do it is so hard to get everything done, instead just get everything done when it is assigned.
