LP’s Hockey team starts journey with first season win

Lewis Palmer’s Hockey team had their first game of the season on December 4, 2013 verse Kent Denver. The team came away with a major defeat with a score of 8 to 1. The team looked prepared for their very first game and came out ready to win.

Coached by LP’s very own athletic trainer, Kevin Margarucci supported and trained the boys to be their very best.

“The chance to go to playoffs and seeing how far we can make it being the senior’s last season. The key to our winning is the team’s good attitude and good work ethic during practices.” Senior Julian Claudio stated.

Many key players were involved with the win. Taylor Hill had a goal and an assist while Julian Claudio played well with two goals and one assist. Each member of the team was an important asset in supplying the win verse Kent Denver.

The team and the fans all look forward to LP’s return and winning streak journey to the playoffs. Lewis Palmer play’s again on Friday, November 6, verse Ralston Valley. Come support the Ranger hockey team as they continue their journey to state!
