Lewis-Palmer School District has always been renowned for its excellent students, staff, and sports teams; so much so that people will open enroll into our schools.

The excellence of our district is reflected in the awards we receive, our sports teams are number one in the state, our secondary schooling preparedness rate is 96.7%, we score in the upper 90% in all testing scores, and our staff are some of the best in the state.

All of these factors combined are how LPHS won the John Irwin School of Excellence Award for the 4th year in a row in 2013.

This award is given to schools that demonstrate excellent academic achievement and exceed expectations on the academic achievement indicator. It is based off the past three years of the school’s educational history, meaning that for 7 years, LPHS has been above and beyond state average

Other schools in our district who received this prestigious award were Lewis Palmer Middle School, Monument Academy Charter School, Prairie Winds Elementary School, and Ray E Kilmer Elementary School
