Over the weekend, I watched The Wolverine. I have seen the previous X-Men and Wolverine movies, and I liked them a lot so I was excited to watch this one.

The movie starts with a flashback to the nuclear war in Japan. Wolverine is a prisoner and saves a soldier from the explosion. One day while at a bar, a girl named Yukio asks him if he will go with her to Japan so her master could say goodbye. When he arrives, he sees the man he saved in the war and says his goodbye’s right before he dies.

At the funeral, a Japanese gang attacks and take the granddaughter of the man named Mariko. Wolverine goes to save her and something takes his mutation out of him, and he begins to die.

I was extremely disappointed by this film. I didn’t care for the story or any of the characters. The movie was very predictable and had a weak ending. The movie wasn’t the same quality as the other X-Men movies and I hope they do not try to make another one. I would not recommend it to anyone.
