On January 17, 2014, Ride Along came into theaters. This action comedy directed by Tim story is a hilarious movie that many would enjoy. Featuring Ice Cube and the comedian Kevin Heart; this is one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in a long time.

A young, crazy security guard named Ben wants to become a real police officer but can’t get a good word in at the academy. Ben joins up with his potential brother in law James, a detective, on a twenty four hour patrol of the city in order to prove himself worthy of marrying his bride to be Angela, James’s sister.

While Ben is tagging along on James’s patrol, James is secretly working to try and figure out a three year long case of a man named Omar and his huge drug and weapon industry.

Ben is very goofy and not really cut out to be in a tight situation and he ends up in some really dangerous situations during the movie, frustrating James.

This movie was hilarious and very well-developed. I would love it if there was a part two. I recommend this movie for an older audience due to some mild language and violence.
