Rebecca Robidoux and Dominique Chouloute, both sophomores, play for Lewis-Palmer’s junior varsity tennis team. Rebecca is ending her second season on LP’s team and Dominique is finishing her first. They are teammates for doubles matches, and they are ranked as #1 on JV which is an impressive accomplishment for such young and inexperienced players.

“We’re all really close on the team. I love playing with Dominique, she’s great and we’ve only lost one game together,” Rebecca said.

Dominique has been taking private lessons this year in hopes of improving her skills, and she says that if she hadn’t taken them she might not have made JV 1. Rebecca had never formally played tennis before she tried out in her freshman year, and it was a great surprise when she made JV 1.

Rebecca plans to continue playing tennis for Lewis-Palmer until she graduates.  She is going to try out for the varsity team in her junior year.
