The Lewis-Palmer swim team is looking optimistic for the PPAC (Pikes Peak Athletic Conference) Conference Championship coming up on May 9th and the 5A state meet coming up on May 16th. So far this season, the boys swim team has not lost a single duel meet with a record of 6-0.

Other Lewis-Palmer placings in league meets are three first place finishes, three second place finishes, and one third place finish. The Lewis-Palmer boys team wants to finish off the season with a win at PPAC and at State.

Another notable achievement of the Lewis-Palmer boys swim team is the duel meet overall record. The boys team is undefeated since the creation of the team, with a standing record of 79-1-0, with one tie coming last year from Air Academy.

“I thought the team swam really well this year. We kept our undefeated record and I hope we continue this streak for the next three years I am here.” said sophomore Matt Lyons.

Going into the Air Academy duel meet this year, the Lewis-Palmer boys team was nervous and swam their hardest to pull out a win of 260-206.

This year has been largely successful for the Lewis-Palmer boys swim team and they hope to have another successful year next year.
