The Lewis-Palmer swim team is looking optimistic for the PPAC (Pikes Peak Athletic Conference) Conference Championship coming up on May 9^th and the 5A state meet coming up on May 16^th. So far this season, the boys swim team has not lost a single duel meet with a record of 6-0.

Other Lewis-Palmer placings in league meets are three first place finishes, three second place finishes, and one third place finish. The Lewis-Palmer boys team wants to finish off the season with a win at PPAC and at State.

Another notable achievement of the Lewis-Palmer boys swim team is the duel meet overall record. The boys team is undefeated since the creation of the team, with a standing record of 79-1-0, with one tie coming last year from Air Academy.

“I thought the team swam really well this year. We kept our undefeated record and I hope we continue this streak for the next three years I am here.” said sophomore Matt Lyons.

Going into the Air Academy duel meet this year, the Lewis-Palmer boys team was nervous and swam their hardest to pull out a win of 260-206.

This year has been largely successful for the Lewis-Palmer boys swim team and they hope to have another successful year next year.
