September’s  practice ACT brought all juniors to realize how close the actual ACT is. The ACT test determines how well students have learned in their courses in high school. It may help determine how well we are prepared for college material.

Planning and studying for the ACT can be extremely stressful, and determines readiness for college.  If a student wants to go to a highly ranked school, they must achieve a high score. All of these factors contribute to the stress of students taking the test.

Regardless of when the real ACT comes around, the students of Lewis-Palmer High school plan and study hard. It is common knowledge that the test will determine the future of many who take it, so a lot of importance has been placed on it. This causes a lot of students to already begin to plan ahead by purchasing study books and taking preparatory classes.
