The premiere of the fourth season of the television series American Horror Story was broadcasted last Wednesday, October 8. The new season is titled “Freak show” and is exciting fans of the series everywhere.

“I was ecstatic for the fall premiere of American Horror Story,” Dominique Chouloute, junior at Lewis-Palmer said.

Episode one consisted of Elsa Mars a German woman who begins to collect freaks for her show. A variety of new creepy characters are introduced: a killer clown, Siamese twins, a bearded lady, a hermaphrodite, and a young man with claws for hands.

American Horror Story has been scaring audiences over the course of four years by creating entirely new stories each season, while keeping the same cast members. The first season titled “Murder House” entails a family of three who now reside in a home that was the location of several famous murders.

The following season “,Asylum,” takes the viewers to Briarcliff manor, a mental institution. The viewers are introduced to Briarcliff’s newest occupant a deranged serial killer named Bloody Face. This sanctuary of healing is home to terrifying evils that cause even the sane to become crazy.

In “Coven” the third season of the series, viewers are introduced to Zoe. She is anything but ordinary and possesses an odd genetic affliction that traces back to the dark ages of Salem. She is admitted to Miss Robichaux’s Academy for Exceptional Young Ladies in New Orleans. This is a school especially for the few who are left of the bloodline of witches.

After three absolutely horrifying seasons, Freak Show raises high expectations for episodes to come.
