Homemade last minute Halloween costumes
October 30, 2014
With only a few days left until Halloween, many of the students at Lewis-Palmer are struggling to find a last minute costume. What many are unaware of is that a costume can be made from basic articles that can be found at home.
One of the easiest Halloween costumes that can be made from scraps around the house is a ghost. By taking a white sheet and cutting eye holes in it, a ghost costume is instantly made.
A cowboy or cowgirl outfit can be an easy option for a costume if the proper articles of clothing can be found. To become a cowboy or cowgirl, all it takes is a flannel, cowboy hat, jeans and cowboy boots.
A colorful t-shirt and a black marker can instantly create an M&M costume. This is an easy costume for those who do not have much time to get ready for Halloween; the only preparation needed for this costume is time to draw a large M on the front of the t shirt.
For those students who own a red and white striped shirt and hat, they suddenly have created a “Where’s Waldo” costume. This costume can be paired with a comfy pair of jeans to finish the look.
For any students who are still looking for a Halloween costume, create a costume from what is lying around the house and go have a good time.
