As first semester comes to an end many people take this time to reflect on the year’s best moments. Some students have used his semester to prepare for next year’s classes, and others have chosen to sit back and enjoy the ride.

“Next semester is going to be super chill because I already have all the hard stuff out of the way. I’m looking forward to having a more relaxed schedule,” senior Kimberly Whitcomb said.

For some underclassmen it has simply been a matter of adjusting to life in high school and taking this time to make decisions that will affect their futures. Many times this involves reflection on what to get involved in later.

“I would have played a sport and focused on more academically important subjects like math and English,” sophomore Ashley Collins said.

This time of year it becomes even more obvious that the flu is not the only virus to watch out for. Senioritis is a serious epidemic that is found in high schools around the country and is known for spreading rapidly around the end of the first semester.

“This semester was boring, and I definitely have senioritis,” Dana Doremus,12, said.

It may seem as if the semester has flown by, but for many this year has been full of unforgettable moments and will be added to their list of cherished high school memories.
