Coach Susan Odenbaugh, has been a coach for 27 years and head coach for 14 years at Lewis-Palmer High School. Odenbaugh teaches the team to play to their full potential and be good teammates to one and other and the opposing team.

“They need to be selfless and control their side of the net. Nothing will be achieved unless we work hard to achieve it,” said Odenbaugh.

Kessandra Krutsinger, freshman, is one of the newest additions to this year’s team. Krutsinger plays middle hitter and gains more and more minutes every game.

“It’s awesome, but a great responsibility. I get such an experience that I can treasure to help me through my career in volleyball,” Kurtsinger said.

Mariah Evans, 12, and captain, is one of the leaders of this great team. Evans has played since she was 7 years old and now plays center for the Lewis-Palmer Rangers.

“I always make sure our team’s heads are game ready and they are ready to compete,” Evans said.

As a leader on this team, Evans strives to prepare the team for every match. She encourages the team to always try their best and play as hard as they can.

Pressure is another high factor being on a dominating team. The team must be willing to focus as hard as they can and play to their full potential.

“The only pressure we have is the pressure we put on ourselves,” Odenbaugh said.

As said by Krutsinger and Evans “The game of volleyball is a game of mistakes, but our teammates always have eachothers backs.”
As a team the girls play with all their hearts. There is no doubt that the Lady Rangers will work their hardest and try to get to another state championship.
