Isabelle Allner, 9, is a member of the Lewis-Palmer High School Varsity Poms Team.  While she has only been on the team for a few months, she has already had so many great experiences with the team.  Prior to Poms, Allner had only danced in preschool and kindergarten, so she was not expecting to join this years 2015-2016 Lewis-Palmer Poms team.

“One of my friends was going to join the team, so I thought it would be a fun thing to try,” Allner said.

While poms has only learned a few routines to start off the season, Allner said that her favorites are two of the sidelines, Perdoname and Get Low, and her favorite half-time routine was the Homecoming routine.

“All of the girls are just so sweet and loving.  You also get to learn really cool dances,” Allner said.

Her favorite part about being on the team is all of her friends that are on poms with her. She also loves to learn all of the dances, and joining Poms has enabled her to perform better in front of people without getting stage fright.

Poms has made a great influence on Allner’s life, but there are other things that have also been a big part of her life. Allner also does community service in her free time, and feels that it has made a large impact on her. She is currently working at the Humane Society and hopes to soon be a Candy Striper at a local hospital.

In her free time, Allner enjoys any activity that includes Disney. Such as shopping at the Disney Store, watching Disney Channel shows and movies, and drawing Disney characters.  Allner loves being on Poms and is excited for this season.
