Amy Cooper, 12, was a member of the Lewis-Palmer High School field hockey team. While the season is over, she made a lot of memories and had fun.

Cooper has been playing field hockey for 5 years and has been on the Lewis-Palmer team for 4 years.

“I was just looking to play a sport and my coach had just set up field hockey in middle school, so I went to check it out and I enjoyed it,” Cooper said.

This season the Lewis-Palmer team made it to semi-finals for field hockey, which Cooper said was a good goal they achieved.

Cooper said that being on the team helped her learn to work with other people and it has helped her leadership goals.  They must learn how to get along with other people and also be supportive of each other.

“The team is great,” Cooper said. “The team provides a family like environment for everyone on the team.”
