Hilton’s Missing Soccer

Hiltons+Missing+Soccer

“I have been missing soccer so much and I really have no idea what to do without it. Honestly with all of this crazy corona virus stuff, I have been going out of mind. My sister came back home, she is a freshman in college. She got back home on the day we got out of school. It’s really sad driving past the YMCA or Don Breese and knowing that I can’t play any games or go to practice with the team. But since my sister plays soccer, she and I play pass outside. Of course, six feet away, because that’s the rule. But I made varsity for the LP rangers girls soccer team and I made a lot of good relationships with the girls on my team. Like a lot of teams, we have been doing zoom meetings with our coach so it’s sort of like team bonding. So all in all, I know I am not the only one missing my sport and I really hope that we can all get back to what we love doing. However, with us still being quarantined and not in school, I’ve really been enjoying my online classes. Some of them are just as hard as they are in person, but the ones that are easier, I really appreciate. I also love the fact that we don’t have school on Mondays because it balances out our week and gives the teachers and students more time to catch up on anything that they have to. But I can’t wait to get out of the house and see my friends.”
