La La Land is a 2016 American musical romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by Damien Sayre Chazelle, starring Ryan Gosling as Sebastian Wilder and Emma Stone as Mia Dolan.

La La Land, based off of the original play, Damien Sayre Chazelle an American director and film artist tells a story filled with passion, love, faith, and hope as two aspiring artists a girl, named Mia who dreams of being an actress, and Sebastian whose love for jazz carries him through life.

Under the mask of popular seasonal movies arrived a film resulting in shattering review expectations gaining nearly three million U.S dollars since its release on December 9, 2016. La La Land was a surprisingly good musical based on the viewers and audience.

These two face everything imaginable, from poverty and tragedy, to fame and fortune. As the two slowly fight off prejudices they begin to make careers for themselves and find their relationship deteriorating but their mutual love in music and passion for fame keeps them together during the hardest of times.

The common goal for success the two characters share, reflects values in today’s society and ultimately leads to an instant connection between the characters and the audience.
