Have the sporting events been fun? Well it could just be the Rowdy Rangers making the game a little bit more exciting. Rowdy Rangers is a club that cheers from the stands and gets everyone excited about sporting events.

The Rowdy Rangers support the players so they will play better and know that they have Rowdy Rangers behind them.

“It is really fun and they are doing great things: make sure they all know the cheers and they are involved during sporting events and supporting people,” said Gianna Bartalo 10.

Even though they make it look easy, the leaders of Rowdy Rangers have a very difficult job.

“I try my hardest to get everyone’s attention and to get them to cheer all at the same time and be as loud as they can,” said Kaitlyn Hovasse 12, a Rowdy Rangers leader. The people in Rowdy Rangers is a meaningful to be part of something so big in the school because they generate so much energy at sporting events.

“I like everything we do. It is fun because the sports games are already fun, but it makes it even more fun to go and be a part of that,” said Andrew Manney 12.

In addition to cheering at the games, Rowdy Rangers makes a direct impact by affecting the way students’ think about school.

“It is not all about cheering at the games. People come to school and instead of dreading it they are excited because they know that night there is going to be a huge game,” said Hovasse.

The Rowdy Rangers reach out to students and try to make a difference and help the student body to enjoy school and be excited for the big event after school. This helps boost school spirit and improves the general community.

“It gets people excited for things because a lot of schools don’t have any events that people get excited for so they dread school all the time so Rowdy Rangers helps kids look forward to school (events),” said  Hovasse.

Even though they make it look easy, the leaders of Rowdy Rangers have a very difficult job.
