Westerdahl reflects on traveling with family

“One of my favorite memories was when I went to Europe on a cruise with my grandparents in the summer of 2017. I went to Portugal, France, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Spain, and England; I got to see the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Normandy Beach, and London. My favorite place was probably the Netherlands when I went to Amsterdam; I really liked the city there and I saw Anne Frank’s house. The most interesting thing I saw was the Red Light District in Amsterdam; I learned a lot about the history of Europe: World War II after visiting Normandy Beach, and just how the culture there is a lot different than it is here.”
