Best Friends Having a Blast on Halloween Night

On Friday, October 29, the day before Halloween, the kids at Lewis-Palmer High School decided to dress up and go to school in their costumes to show what they were fashioning for Halloween night.

Bridget Cassidy, 9, dressed up as a football player with her friend Cayla Young, 9, and they wore the same jersey that said each other’s last names on the back.

On the night of Halloween, Cassidy dressed up as a clown while her friend, Young, dressed up as a little red riding hood. They went trick-or treating in Young’s neighborhood. They got a lot of candy and they watched scary movies afterwards.

“Halloween is my favorite holiday because we get to get as much candy as we want for free, “ Cassidy says. She had lots of fun with her friends on Halloween night and enjoyed they eachother’s company.

Cassidy and Young watched “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and stayed up late, telling each other scary stories, making cheesy jokes, eating their Halloween candy.

“It was really fun dressing up and being with my friends on Halloween night.” She said with a huge bright smile. Cassidy loved dressing up and getting candy with her friends, she said “I enjoyed my night with friends, it’s better than staying at home and doing nothing.”

After Young and Cassidy were done trick-or-treating they went and helped cassidy’s mom pass out candy to the kids in the front door. Cassidy and Young would greet them and would compliment them on their costumes.

After the girls finished helping out with her mother, Cassidy and Young went outside and played with Cassidy’s dog named Abby and they went for a walk while looking at the stars. Cassidy and Young then decided to spend the night on the trampoline with many blankets and pillow.

“I’ve had so much fun that night with one of my greatest friend.” Young said when she left her house the next morning with a smile on her face. Young and Cassidy has been friends for a long time and they hang out with each other more than any other of their friends.
