Scientists are coming to a conclusion about the myths and secrets of the Bermuda Triangle

For centuries, the Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil’s Triangle, located between Miami and Puerto Rico, has been responsible for the disappearance of ships and planes. “At least 1,000 lives have been lost in the Triangle in the last 100 years, and on average, 4 planes and 20 ships go missing every year.” Said Gareth Davies.

The first ever incident that happened in the Bermuda Triangle was reported in January of 1908, when a sailing ship suddenly disappeared off the radar east of Hampton Roads, Virginia. The ship was carrying nine people.

The reason for the losses of ships and planes have baffled researchers for decades. Until recently, when Scientist may have come up for the reasoning behind the Bermuda Triangle that has been taking planes and ships down and hasn’t been found.

The new theory is said that clouds forming above the Bermuda Triangle can create 170 mph winds, this is nicknamed “air bombs.” This is capable of bringing down planes and ships. A meteorologist named Randy Cerveny was using radar satellite imagery that was showing terrifying “hexagonal” shaped clouds that were about 20 to 50 miles wide forming over the dodgy patch of the ocean water. Randy Cerveny said “The satellite imagery is really bizarre. The hexagonal shapes in the ocean are in essence air bombs. They’re formed by what is called microbursts.”

Microbursts are blasts of air that comes down out of the bottom of a cloud and then hit the ocean and create waves that can sometimes be massive in size as they start to interact with one another.

A satellite meteorologist named Dr. Steve Miller, at Colorado State University told Science Channel, What on Earth,  Said “You don’t typically see straight edges with clouds. Most of the time, clouds are random in their distribution.”

Although meteorologist  scientists think they may have came up with a conclusion to why the Bermuda Triangle is so dangerous, the Bermuda Triangle is still a mystery, and scientist can’t come to a conclusion as to why ships and planes are actually disappearing in that particular area.
