Creating Safe2tell was something that provided young people a way to report any threatening behaviors or activities endangering them or someone they know, in a way that keeps them safe and anonymous.

When It first came out, that is what it was used for; it was. People called in about real things; about actual life threatening events. They were saving live.

They stopped bomb threats, suicides, murders, and people from getting continuously bullied or threatened.

As people got more used to having it, they started taking advantage of it, in an incredibly wrong way. They started using it as bullying; harming someone rather than helping them.

A lot of false reports were made, just because they “didn’t like” the person. They were saying that innocent people threatened to bomb or bringing guns to school. That healthy people had some type of eating disorder or that they wanted to kill themselves.

By creating such horrible false reports makes it hard to know which ones are true and which ones are not. It is beginning to cause a lot more harm than it is good.
