Daylight Savings strikes again.

Setting clocks back an hour

Setting clocks back an hour

Savannah Vail, Editor

On Sunday, March 9th, Daylight savings began. The days are finally starting to be longer. Daylight Savings marks the beginning of spring and new beginnings for all. This is the time when the sun comes up an hour earlier than usual and sets later in the day. But it is exhausting for many people.

This time change doesn’t really affect many people, but it defiantly affects teenager. Teenagers tend to go to sleep very late, and sleep 8-10 hours. The time change takes away one hour of their sleep and makes them very grumpy.

Like most students, the time change made me exhausted. I think that there is no need for the time change, it really has no point. I believe that we should just keep our clocks the way they were and continue with our sleeping schedule.

Eventually we all get used to the time change, but it takes several days to get used to waking up in the dark.
