Eyer sits on his bed and plays the guitar. “Sometimes it can be difficult to make music because a lot of different people have different ideas in their heads,” Eyer said. “So if everyone’s not on the same page, it can be extremely difficult to make music.”

Andrew Eyer 11 has always had a passion for music. He recently decided to further his passion to the next step. A year ago he started a band. The band mainly focuses on the Indie Rock genre but is also heavily influenced by many classic rock bands.

“I just got some equipment and got some people together who have similar interests and that’s about it really,” Eyer said.

Since many bands do not make it big, the music industry can be difficult to succeed in. In order to succeed, it is crucial that everyone is on the same page.

“Sometimes it can be difficult to make music because a lot of different people have different ideas in their heads,” Eyer said. “So if everyone’s not on the same page, it can be extremely difficult to make music.”

For Eyer making music is not just a hobby or something to do just for fun. He is trying to make music more than just a hobby by making music with his band as well as making music on his own.

“I kind of have my own stuff that I’m working on as well as making music with other people and my band,” Eyer said.

Eyer plans on continuing his music after he graduates and hopes to have it form into something more than just his passion, but his career.

“Music is so important to me because it tells a story,” Eyer said. “It gets people moving and brings a lot of excitement to people. It’s just so much fun.”
