Anastasiya Vlasenko is a Russian-speaking exchange student from Ukraine, a junior at Lewis Palmer, but a senior back in her country. Most of all she enjoys drawing and creating things, that’s why she is taking all possible art classes at LP. Her second favorite thing is getting to know people from other countries. This year, with becoming an exchange student, her dream came true, and now she would be able to spend the rest of her life just visiting her friends from all over the world, from Egypt to Moldova. Never having an opportunity to actually use her possibly existing writing skills back in her country, she enjoys being in newspapers, even though writing in a second language can be not so fun sometimes. She is a big lover of ‘60sculture, especially music, and sometimes she thinks she was born in wrong time.
