Quinn Ferguson, Assistant Editor

Quinn Ferguson is a junior at Lewis-Palmer High School and is an Assistant Editor for Ranger Review News. In her free time, she enjoys taking care of her many plants and blows steam by weight lifting. Quinn is in Key Club and supports her community through volunteer work. She loves buying, reading, and annotating books. Some of her favorite authors include Sylvia Plath and Jane Austen because of their feminine perspective within different eras. During the summer she goes to camp for 7 weeks to sail, waterski, and canoe. She hopes to improve her writing and editing skills this coming semester. Quinn is optimistic to have a wonderful year with this new group.

The Pine Gulch Fire ravaging the Mesa and Garfield Counties in August of 2020. While started by a lightning strike, the fire still led to poor air quality for local residents and shut down multiple oil drills and gas wells. Firefighters sustained little to no injuries despite being subjected to the wildfire for months.
