Sophomore, Bryce Oppenheimer is a new student at Lewis-Palmer High School this year, who is coming from another small town in Colorado. Despite being new, Oppenheimer is already accomplishing new things including participating in LP athletics.

“I have been here for about six months and I have played soccer as well as participated in wrestling. I like it a lot. The people and coaches I have met are great,” Oppenheimer said.

He is most excited for the upcoming soccer and wrestling seasons next school year and stresses that he participates in sports for various reasons. He believes that joining extracurricular school activities is about creating teams, relationships and fulfilling potential. The hard dedication is what makes it worth it.

“Sports and practice have made me better; I have made new friends and learned new things,” Oppenheimer said.

Lewis-Palmer is continuously succeeding at making students express themselves and exceed in all their areas; for Oppenheimer, it is the sports.
