The unique ideas that student council created for Homecoming week have everyone ecstatic. This year’s homecoming theme is Candy Land and is said to be one of the best Homecoming dances yet.
“The decorations are adorable”, said sophomore Sam Farmer, a member of Lewis Palmer’s Student Council program.
Farmer also said she is “very excited for Fake an Injury Day.” Fake an injury day will give students and faculty an opportunity to be monumentally creative with their “injuries”; the sky is the limit. In addition to this day, people are looking forward to Salad Dressing Day, an unexpected and somewhat significant idea for dress up.
There are some nightly activities going on during the week as well. These include Ultimate Frisbee, Powder Puff, the Car Bash, and all of the various sporting events.
“I’m so glad I have the opportunity to be a part of Powder Puff this year. I really like all the girls on the team and I think it will be a great experience,” said sophomore Audrey Campbell.
All of these special themes for the days of the school week and the sporting events or get-togethers have a way of raising the overall school spirit. It creates an exciting environment for many of the students, whether they are planning to attend Homecoming or not.
They enjoy wearing pajamas to school, participating in Swag or spirit days, and especially going to watch their school’s teams dominate in the many games happening during the week.
The Homecoming football game is on Friday and the big dance the following night. This week and weekend create a vibe throughout the school that seems to excite everyone.
Most students weren’t too happy about the summer ending but the anticipation of Homecoming starts everyone out on a good note and makes them begin looking forward to what the rest of the school year has in store.

I write a leave a response when I like a article on a
site or if I have something to contribute to the conversation.
It’s caused by the fire displayed in the article I read.
And after this post Ranger Review : Homecoming week boosts school spirit.
I was actually moved enough to create a thought 😛 I actually do have 2 questions for you if
it’s allright. Could it be only me or do a few of these comments come across as if
they are coming from brain dead visitors?
😛 And, if you are writing on other online sites, I would like to follow anything
new you have to post. Could you list all of all your social pages like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?
