On March 19^th the students of the Lewis-Palmer student body were officially told what the 2014 Prom theme would be.

The Prom invitations were designed to look like a message in a bottle with a tied up scroll, plastic bottle, cork, shells complete with sand.  I thought that the Prom invitations were a cool idea and I liked that they were something different.

The Prom theme is “Take Me Away”, which is very strange.  What is Take Me Away even supposed to mean?  The theme is very vague and confusing and the name should have been different.  The Prom is being hosted at the Pinery in Black Forest, Colorado. This is exciting since the Pinery is a very fancy location that hosts many wedding each year.

Even though the name for the Prom theme may not be ideal, Prom is going to be great and many memories will be made.
