Sam Warner, junior at Lewis-Palmer High School has set a new record in the Parallel Squat. The old record was set at 405 pounds.

“I felt pretty good about it. I just decide to try 410 pounds, it was kind of a random decision, but I was happy when I got it. I didn’t really know what to think because it wasn’t like I had trained for it, it just happened,” Warner said after breaking the old record.

Setting a new weight record can be hard to do, but Warner has accomplished this challenge and set a new record for the Parallel Squat. Having the highest record at Lewis-Palmer is a way to leave a mark on what an amazing and skillful student Sam Warner is.
