On September 23, the Rangers played against the Falcon High Falcons in the junior varsity mens soccer game. The Falcons did not get a chance to score, making a win of 8-0 for the Rangers.

The soccer game had both impressive defensive and offensive skills displayed by both teams.

“I feel good about the game, and the team worked well as a unit. We passed the ball well and capitalized on our team work,” Hunter McClung, sophomore, said.

The boys’ team excelled with their passing and getting the ball to the opponent’s goal. But with any team, there still may be need to enhance their skills.

“There is always room to improve. Our speed of playing could be better,” McClung said.

Within the first half of the game, LP scored four points. Through their skill and teamwork, the boys managed to hold their lead adding another four points to the scoreboard.
