Over the course this year, many new shows have aired for their debut seasons. Some of the shows that piloted in 2015 include American Crime, Allegiance, Last Man On Earth, and a new favorite of viewers, AMC’s Better Call Saul.
“Its the perfect mix of comedy, serious law stuff, and a nice back story,” Patrick Haggard, 9, stated.
Better Call Saul, produced by the well established TV channel AMC, piloted on February 8th, 2015, and has come on every Monday night since. So far, 6 shows have been aired, which leaves 4 left this season.
For those who watched the critically acclaimed show Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul would be a show to consider watching as it is produced and directed by the same people . This Show is a comedic drama about a small time lawyer whose only dream is to strike it rich, and one day own his own big-time law firm.
The shows ratings are off the charts for now, as IMDB ranked it at a 9.3 out of 10.
“I would have to give it at least a 9 [out of ten], it definitely deserves it,” Haggard said.
The show definitely has its own advertising to thank for its huge audience and great reviews. AMC showed many teasers and trailers previous to the pilot episode which helped get the show known. Also, the show piloted immediately after one the country’s most popular shows, The Walking Dead which also helped the show rise to greatness.
The show stars Bob Odenkirk, aka Saul, who has not previously been the star of a show or movie, yet he did appear in a few episodes of Breaking Bad.
The show has already filmed its first two seasons, and hopes to prosper for many more.
