After four long years, the wait for Adele’s fans is finally over. Adele’s release of  her new album“25” has most people talking. Adele’s “25” was the first album to sell over three million copies in the first week. This beats records set by past artists such as Taylor Swift, ‘N’ Sync, and Whitney Houston.

Adele’s first album “19” was released in 2008 and became a success hitting number one on the charts in the United Kingdom during it’s release. “19” was followed by “21” in 2011, and just like her first album, it received worldwide praise. But her newest album, “25”, has gotten the most response and praise compared to her past two albums.

With the release of Adele’s single “Hello,”the media was all over covering this trendy new hit. Famous shows such as Ellen, Saturday Night Live, and The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon featured the single in their shows. Radio shows such as BBC Radio 1’s David Attenborough talked about her song as well.

Adele’s strong unique voice adds a special element to each song along with the lyrics that seem to come straight from her heart. Adele’s album sends messages to her fans about her past and present, and how she’s discovering herself. Maybe the most obvious example of this is in her song “Hello.” With lyrics like, I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet, or It’s no secret that the both of us are running out of time. Adele’s whole album seems to focus on time and aging.
